For the past 25 years, Paris Commune has been the place in the West Village for first dates, last dates, celebrations, proposals (both of the decent and indecent varieties), and plain old “I don't feel like cooking tonight!” nights.

GWdesign, an NYC based Interior and Architectural Design firm has created an atmosphere which is casually elegant, familiar yet, with a decided French twist. And the food? Ooh la la. C'est sublime. Classic bistro fare, inventive dishes with an international flair, awesome burgers and meatloaf, and a roast chicken your maman wishes she prepared.
